Terms of Use

1. The service

Barberky is a scheduling tool for barbers, hairdressers, salons and independent professionals. It lets you manage appointments, clients, services and reports on your own device.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the app.

3. Free plan and Premium

The free plan includes limits on new appointments per month, clients and services, and shows ads. The current limits are shown in the app and on barberky.com. Premium removes those limits and the ads.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Premium is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple or Google to your store account. The price is shown before you confirm. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds follow the policies of Apple or Google. Free trials, when offered, turn into a paid subscription unless cancelled before they end.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter. It is stored only on your device, so you are responsible for keeping backups. We are not able to recover data lost when a device is lost, reset or the app is deleted without a backup.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store your clients' personal details and for using them in line with the privacy laws that apply to you.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Barberky for unlawful purposes, to store content you have no right to store, or in a way that harms the app, other users or third parties.

7. Changes and availability

We may add, change or remove features, and update these terms. We will try to give notice of important changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

8. Disclaimer

Barberky is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that reminders will always be delivered.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Akyno Apps is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Termination

You can stop using Barberky at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously breached.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
