Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Akyno Apps ("we") handles information in the Barberky mobile app for iOS and Android and on the website barberky.com (together, the "Service"). The short version: the schedule, clients and prices you enter stay on your phone. Questions: [email protected].

1. Who we are

Barberky is developed and published by Akyno Apps. You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Data you enter in the app

Barberky has no account or login. Everything you type in the app is stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers. This includes:

  • Client names, phone numbers, notes and preferences
  • Appointments, services, prices, durations, discounts and payment methods
  • App preferences such as language, currency, theme and reminders

3. Backups

You can export a backup file from the app. The file is created on your device and you decide where to save or send it (for example email or a cloud drive). We never receive a copy. Importing a backup replaces or adds data on the device where you import it.

4. Information collected automatically

To keep the app working and improve it, the app and our partners may collect technical data that does not include your client list:

  • Device model, operating system, app version, language and country
  • Usage events (for example, that an appointment was created, without its content), performance and crash reports
  • Advertising identifiers, when you allow them on iOS (App Tracking Transparency) or on Android

5. Advertising

The free plan shows ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to show and measure ads. On iOS you are asked for permission before personalized ads are shown; you can change it at any time in Settings. Premium subscribers do not see ads.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

Premium is sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts on our behalf to confirm that a subscription is active and to restore purchases.

8. The website and cookies

barberky.com works without cookies by default. If you click Accept in the cookie banner, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load to measure visits, store-button clicks and how pages are used. If you decline, they do not load. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies in your browser.

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you.

9. How we use information

We use the limited data described above to run and improve the Service, fix errors, show ads in the free plan, confirm subscriptions, answer support requests and comply with the law. We do not sell personal information.

10. Retention and deletion

Data in the app stays on your device until you delete it, delete the app or clear its data. Analytics and advertising partners keep technical data according to their own retention policies. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to help you.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, the LGPD in Brazil or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because the app's content is on your device, you control it directly. For anything else, write to [email protected].

12. Children

The Service is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Data in the app is protected by your device's security. You can also lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint. Keep your backup files in a safe place, since they contain your client list.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes will be announced on this page or in the app.
